Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover how Premier Hollister Spray Foam Insulation works with you, from the first call or form to the last bag hauled out of your attic. When you use this website, ask for an estimate or have our crew do work at your house, you're agreeing to these terms, so please read them before you book.
If a written estimate or contract we give you for a specific job says something different from this page, the written estimate or contract wins for that job. If you have a question about anything here, reach us through our contact page before work starts and we'll talk it through.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Hollister, CA, and we insulate and air seal homes and some commercial buildings in Hollister and the cities around it. That includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, attic and crawl space work, removing old insulation and vapor barriers. Our home page lists the full set of services, and our about page tells you more about who we are.
We're fully licensed and insured. The exact work we'll do at your house is whatever your written estimate describes, and we don't add work to a job without your OK.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free, on site and obligation-free, so you can take the number, think it over and say no without owing us anything. The estimate is based on what we can see and measure the day we come out, like how much insulation is already up there, how easy the attic or crawl space is to get into and which material you pick.
Some things only show up once the job is open, such as old insulation that was soaked or full of droppings, gaps that need sealing or framing that needs attention first. If we find something that changes the price, we stop, show you what we found and give you the new number before we go further. You decide whether we go ahead.
An estimate holds for the time written on it. After that, material costs can change, so we may need to update the price before we schedule the work.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you approve the estimate, and we'll tell you about how long our crew will be at your house. Weather, material deliveries and what we find in the attic can move the schedule, and if that happens we'll call you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area on the scheduled day, which usually means clearing a path to the attic hatch or crawl space entry and keeping pets out of the way. If we show up and can't get in, we'll work with you on a new date, and the written estimate may set a trip charge for that.
Some jobs, spray foam in particular, need you, your kids and your pets out of the house for a while. We'll tell you the re-entry time, meaning when it's safe to come back inside, before the job starts. Following it is up to you, because coming back early can put your household at risk.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (831) 245-4007 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, the written estimate may say what part of that cost you'd still owe.
Payment
Your written estimate or contract sets out how much you'll pay, when payment is due and the ways you can pay. If it calls for a deposit, we'll say so in writing before we schedule anything.
Final payment is due when the work described in your estimate is done, unless your written agreement says otherwise. If a payment is late, we'll contact you first, and we may charge late fees or collection costs where the written agreement allows it and California law permits.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee on every job. If something about our workmanship isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and make it right.
Insulation products come with the maker's own warranty, and we'll pass along any warranty information we get from the maker. We follow the maker's instructions when we install, and any claim about the product itself goes through the maker's warranty.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from things outside our work, like roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, other contractors disturbing the insulation later or changes you make to the area after we're done. We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill, because that depends on your house, your habits and your utility rates.
Other than the guarantee above and what's written in your estimate or contract, we don't make any other warranties, express or implied, to the extent California law allows us to leave them out.
Limits on our liability
We carry insurance and take care at every house we work in. Still, to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income, hotel costs or the cost of staying elsewhere during a re-entry time, unless the law says we must be. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under California law that can't be waived.
This website
The information on this site is general, so it explains how insulation work usually goes and isn't a quote or advice for your specific house. Your estimate is where your real numbers and plan come from.
We try to keep the site accurate, but we don't guarantee it's free of errors or always available. Any links to outside websites are there for your convenience, and we're not responsible for what's on them.
If we disagree
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest with a conversation and a return visit. If that doesn't settle it, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court.
If a dispute still isn't resolved, either of us can bring it in small claims court or in the courts of the California county where the work was done.
Governing law
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes won't affect a job you've already signed for, which stays under the terms in place when you approved it.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
How to reach us
Questions about these terms or about a job are welcome. Call us at (831) 245-4007 or use the form on our contact page, and expect a reply within 1 business day.
